Omer currently serves as Chief Financial Officer for Walmart’s U.S. Health & Wellness business. Since joining Walmart in 2017, he has held a variety of leadership roles in the U.S. and internationally. His professional background spans retail, consumer goods, and financial services, and he has a wealth of experience in strategic and financial oversight as well as operational leadership.

Omer holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Music from Macalester College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Originally from Turkey, Omer and his wife, Evren, have lived in multiple countries across four continents before calling Northwest Arkansas their home — a community they are proud to be part of. Omer is deeply committed to Thaden’s mission and values and is honored to help steward the school’s resources and vision as it continues to grow and serve its student families across Northwest Arkansas.
