Stefan Sterns is a Partner at NewRoad Capital Partners, a Bentonville based Venture Capital firm, where he leads investment sourcing and analysis, oversees deal execution, and supports the firm’s portfolio companies. He currently serves on the boards of five NewRoad portfolio companies. Before joining NewRoad Capital Partners in 2019, Stefan spent eight years with Barclays Investment Bank in New York City, most recently as a Director in the Communications and Media group, where he advised mid- and large-cap media and telecommunications companies on mergers and acquisitions and executed more than $200 billion in debt and equity financings.

Stefan and his wife, Peyton, have two children in Thaden’s Lower School, Scarlett and Henry. Stefan also serves as the Vice Chair of the Mercy Health Foundation Board, where he has been a board member since 2022.

Stefan holds a bachelor’s degree in Diplomatic History from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
