Thaden Community
Youth Orchestra
The Thaden Community Youth Orchestra (TCYO) is an inspiring musical program designed to develop confident, creative musicians through a full-orchestra experience and skill ensembles. Under the direction of experienced educators, students strengthen their technical music skills, discipline, and independence while fostering meaningful friendships and collaborative values. TCYO is open to musicians from across the Northwest Arkansas region, allowing students to develop community-wide friendships while developing their skills.
The TCYO program runs two seasons (fall and spring) each academic year. Each year, students present two concerts per season: a mid-term and a final performance, giving them the chance to showcase their progress and share their passion for music with family, friends, and the community. Music educators select a performing repertoire that challenges and inspires values of collaboration, creativity, and personal excellence. TCYO provides an opportunity for students to build community with music students from across NWA.

Whether students are stepping into the spotlight for the first time or refining their craft, the program provides a supportive environment where they can build meaningful friendships and share their unique voices. Through age-based programs in theater and movement, Creative Stages inspires a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts while empowering students to grow as versatile and collaborative creators.
